Winter Stream - My new painting

I really like painting winter scenes. I am particularly drawn to snow and ice melting on a small pond or stream. This is a local brook I saw one morning at the end of last winter. It looks like a pond because some beavers made a dam down stream that has backed up the water.

Plains Road Cows

New Art International

Many of my paintings are featured in this year's edition of New Art International, available soon at Barnes & Noble and Border Books in hard or soft cover. There is a long article about me, too.
New Art International publishes the work by almost 100 artists from all over the world. The accompanying biographies highlight the different backgrounds and motivations of artists working today. The subjects and styles of the artists vary. It is exciting to be a part of this annual project.
