Summer Hay Field

Hay bales pop-up all over the Hudson Valley in mid-summer.
This is a field just outside the town of New Paltz in Ulster County, New York.

Snow In The Valley

Fall is in the air and I want to paint snow! I love the way light plays off of snow in the bright sun. I have painted this farm before. The previous painting had horses in it and it was later in the day. This scene shows the best that Ulster County has to offer - open spaces and the Catskill Mountains not too far away.
